But your family also built in Africa, wherever that may be for much much longer. Are you not taking that in consideration?
I dont where my family comes from black people are not indiginous only to africa. I dont know if i have slavery in my background. Family lineage dates back to the civil war on both sides and that guy from glory with glasses is a good representation of my family fighting for the union in those days. my grandad could tell u stories of killing nazis with hand me down equipment, even though his job title was a chef( black units were cannon fodder and one of the reasons we earned respect in this country. Nazis on speed were scared of us. They died not us). so i aint leaving. if anything i need to coach some of these kids to start "hating trump" and get involved so they take your voice seriously. Repeat, i do not know where my family came from or why they came to america. we been here and been fighting they wars, my mom was a nurse in vietnam, my brother died in the gulf war. I aint leaving

I dont know and its an honest question. We always had money and were free as far back as we can trace

On your mother and fathers side? Your mother and father had two sets of family. There is no trace of historical slavery in your family tree? Im 34. My Great Grandpa grew up on a plantation. He past away when I was 12. I have faces to historical oppression in my bloodline. Slavery was only 4 to 5 generations ago. I find it odd that you dont know if your ancestors went through slavery or not.

I'd love to go. I agree this culture is toxic af. And in this age of social media the dumbest people have the loudest voice.

But because I got a big southern family I'd hate to leave and not be able to see my cousins, uncles and aunts, and best friends that are more like brothers to me.

But I feel bad for my son. The way shyt is going now we're either gonna get the China dominated dystopian future America from looper, or the one from demolition man

I'm tired of the culture here more than anything. I think the western culture is absolutely toxic.

I want a bigger focus on family values, less rigorous and demanding work schedule and a society that wasnt literally designed for me and my future seeds to fail.
Because of how deep social media has insinuated itself in our global society, Western culture is inescapable. There’s nowhere to run, unfortunately, every corner of this world infected by its toxic impact. :francis:
