I don’t think u can become a registered nurse with a 2 year degree. They call those CNA i think. U need for 4 year degree to be a nurse.

EDIT:

apparently I was wrong.
I see you corrected yourself, but CNA a 2 year degree:mjlol:
It's like 6 weeks :russ:
I wonder if they'll finally take the initiative to unionize since theyve become used to getting paid their worth durring covid

Or you can be a emt/paramedic/firefighter and become a P.A.

Those pre reqs will be a MFer though
:hubie:being an EMT is EXTREMELY underpaid and possibly EXTREMELY dangerous. They make barely above minimum wage and you could easily get hurt trying to help some overdosed drug addicted homeless person or some shyt. At least as a nurse you make some decentish money, no way in hell I would ever become an EMT.

Most people just do it for a few years for the clinical hours before p.a. school.

But yeah they are criminally underpaid

If you're not invested in patient care/caring for people, stay away please. Coincidentally, I debated making a thread about nursing and the crisis response nursing jobs.

It's an advancement possibility for me but I believe MLT is a better fit.

Keep in mind the salary is where you live. My wife has been a nurse in two different states and both have paid under 60

I’m actually tryna become a nurse. I took the roundabout way, initially I got my BS in Kinesiology and did some EMT work for PA school but my GPA isn’t too high. Im at a hospital rn I take my nursing entrance exam in a couple weeks. Wish me luck brehs

I have a paramedic associate who told me of the times he got vomit in his mouth from giving chest compressions to patients on the side of the road :scust:
