this cat is one of my favorite posters, for real.

This is why it's so easy to get caught up in foolishness with the opposite sex. All it takes is one act of kindness where their S/O is doing nothing at all to make someone feel wanted and/or appreciated.

I had a co-worker ask me once "you're always taking care of other people.... you've never had anyone take care of you?"

I can't walk on water... but at that moment, if she would've asked me to?

I sure the fukk would've tried. :mjcry::sadcam::takedat::wow:

Her husband choked her out in the parking lot of my job and threatened to kill me over a birthday cake later, but that's besides the point.

Actualy, no it's not. :francis:

Imma tell you, i'm the biggest a$$hole around, but just making sure your team, aka whomever you are around the most be it family or friends, are
in good spirits brings you good fortune more often than not. A chick who got her man carrying the burden of the bills should every now and then
give him something personalized that keeps him full and happy. It ain't hard. Just like men shouldn't slack on making his woman feel like a lady.
Little things count.

One of the best gifts I ever got from a woman? Happened to be my sister, and it was a dope pair of dress socks with abstract designs. Putting your
better half in good spirits don't take shyt tons of work, and it is shocking people don't know this.

Duly noted. next time run it by me, I'm good at detecting bullshyt that aint gonna work.
fine:wtb:
I am culinary level, though. Chances are that any woman that shacks up with me will be going to work with 4 oz of lemon-zested salmon, steamed asparagus,
and red potatoes or couscous cooked in chicken/vegetable broth. I prefer to not eat than have someone feeding me boxed macaroni and dry chicken.

:pacspit:The thought don't fukking count. Get the skills. Lemme cook. She just gotta worry about working the pole right:mjpls:I ain't talkin bout strippin.
dryer chicken is okay if its a black boned chicken
you went to culinary school though? Kick me some knowledge, I have hit a plateau :feedme:

You basically put the wife in a position to realize anything she isn't giving him, he can get elsewhere.
In relationships, it takes certain checks and balances to appreciate their position. Today it could be rice pilaf and italian sausage.
Tomorrow a red velvet cake. Etc etc etc. If her husband not only has a cool woman at work to talk to, but also a cool woman to talk to
who brings him delicious food, he doesn't have to do anything other than let slip he enjoys your company for her to begin to fear the worst.

If he is doing all the working, the least she can do is send him off with good food:comeon:
She forgot how such a little thing as filling her man's belly can send him off happy as fukk, and got that reality check.
Bet you she won't keep it up for longer than a few weeks though. People slack when they feel they "got their prize" already.
A younger, more accommodating chick being in the picture will made an older chick check herself quick as hell when her man
getting taken care of.

So we're to assume he started bringing his lunch because of his wife? I'm confused as to why that's where people automatically went.

Because thats the narrative in the OP so ppl went along

Then it made more sense once she said dude NEVER brought lunch but soon as she brought him some, which was enough to take home for dinner (so chances are his wife saw), now all of a sudden he bringing lunch out the blue when he hadnt for the 3 months prior

Its not a far fetched assumption :manny:

I remember I brought some homemade enchiladas and green sauce to my husbands job as a surprise. Next thing I knew I had a bunch of lonely hungry A1Cs and his supervisor trying to add me on Facebook.
:mjlol:That's why I don't bring the wife around the shop anymore. Made that mistake once. Not a good look to be trying to throw hands with those little knuckleheads. Ain't losing stripes over that shyt.
