At least guys like Bonds, Clemens, Sosa, etc. can say they never failed a test or got busted when the rules got more stringent. Even if they did do roids (which they did), that was a baseball oversight that shouldn't be held against them. In the case of A-Rod, Palmeiro and ESPECIALLY Manny, if you're getting caught or linked to these roid labs after these rules got put in place, you deserve what you're gonna get

Here's my thoughts on the whole PED issue: as time and technology progress, time will look kindly on PED users as we move forward into areas like gene doping, biomechanical modifcation, etc as pioneers. A-Rod was a great when many people were using steroids. I'd have no issue voting him in the HOF
