I really think Trout is the type of player you need to watch on a consistent basis to see how great he is. Voters its pretty much been provin usually dont take defense into consideration as they do hitting, which is why miguel won twice. (Which to be honest and fair, he won the triple crown and followed that up with a better year) yes trout is the better overall player.

Cabrera's not as bad as people think on defense. No, he didn't have great range at third, but he was good enough and wasn't a detriment to the team. He was playing out of position there too and sacrificed so they could have that scrub Fielder at first. Cabrera's gonna be solid at first this season.

I barely comment on baseball and who is better debates are worthless on here.However i will chime in. Obviously Miggy is the best hitter.Tripe Crown in 2012 and his stellar MVP year last year.However Trout is off chain.The catches he was making in his rookie season.his hitting,stealing bases in which he rarely gets caught.Trout is on some Mickey Mantle type ish.
