@murksiderock
Yes he had loaded teams in his prime. But its what he did with them.
We saw Peyton have loaded offenses for literally 90% of his seasons and still shyt the bed CONSTANTLY and have just 1 great playoff win between two unimpressive super bowls
Big Brn had the killer bees and couldn't even make a super bowl with them
KURT WAS MONEY in tbe playoffs. That counts for something
People only remember Warner's great games but remember all of Manning's bad games

crazy because Manning was better and by far the more consistently great player.
I'll give him a pass because the '99 Bucs D was historically great, and that was a classic game, but he was not money in the '99 NFC Championship Game. I remember watching this, but again a defense like that can give you a pass, right?
Should Manning get a pass for losing to the greatest defense of all time in '13?
I also remember the '00 Wild Card game when the Saints upset the Rams, tell you how much I remember it, if I'm not mistaken it was the Saints first playoff win ever. And they were a 30+ year old franchise at that point. Gunslinger Warner was hit alot that game and kept throwing it to Saints, that game at the time was a big deal. Rams heavy favorites, Saints first playoff win.
The '01 NFC Championship was a classic, that was basically the arrival of the Andy Reid Eagles. Warner was "good" in that game but it was far from a "money" game, the greatest running back ever had one of the greatest playoff games ever and won that game for the Rams.
He was not good in the '01 Super Bowl. He threw for a lot of yards on some Padford shyt, but that Patriots defense had him rattled from jump. The Greatest Show On Turf scored 17 points.
His very last playoff game vs the Saints in '09, he was bad.
Warner's reputation as a "money" performer largely come from the '08 playoff run (his best front to back playoff run and what I would call arguably the greatest front to back postseason ever), and his performance in the '99 Super Bowl. They count, I just don't like how people act like the rest of his career don't matter. Mf's conveniently forget his bad games or weren't around to watch em
Warner's legacy is aided greatly by, there was a time he had the most passing yards in a Super Bowl, most passing yards in a playoff game, and most passing yards in a playoff run. I think Brady later passed em all, but when people think Warner, lot of people remember how much of a volume thrower he was.
Manning had some great teams but he didn't have what Warner had in St Louis, thats widely considered a Top 2 offense in NFL history. You're really only putting the late 80s Niners against them.
The fact that Warner set all these records and accolades with them, then fell off a cliff after, was heavily discussed in real time. He was almost out The League, bro. He was fukking terrible for quite a long time.
Manning NEVER had that kinda futility until his final season.
