So basically the city won't evict because it's not considered a rentable dwelling? Then that should mean she has no renters rights. Take the windows and doors off that bytch. Turn on the water and gas. Get a gate around the building and put a lock on it.

Edit: Okay I see that would be considered a construction eviction.

My issue is why can't he get access to the dwelling? He should be able to get emergency access if he gets her proper notice.

i saw a comment that said since they don't have a renters contract of agreeable terms for access to the dwelling for necessary repairs it's basically up to the tenant who she allows to enter the dwelling.

I don't know if that's true. In Maryland, your landlord is allowed to access the in the case of emergencies, especially if 48-hour notice is given. It's still his property, and he should be allowed to maintain it.

if it's gotten to the point where he's doing a news interview, it's probably true. that or he has a terrible lawyer.

Still a wild law...but I can see it from that side as well.

So, he can't claim trespassing?

I'm still not understanding why she gets to stay? He broke the law, rules all that, I get it.
So his punishment is that she gets to stay rent free forever?

But if he blow her head off, it's murder, even though she on his property...

Effed up situation, buddy tried to get over, (and he WRONG FOR THAT) I just don't don't get why she gets to stay as some kind of benefit to something that wasn't even deemed livable by the state?

Buddy should just pay his penance and hire some local thugs to break in and beat her tail and steal her stuff. Bust out all the windows and smoke that hoe out, see if she wanna stay when its bleach and ammonia smoke pouring in....:yeshrug: Turn that bih into a funhouse, let ALL the local squatters in with her. Take the doors off the hinges...

Edit: this ish is crazy…she used the law so nasty, I don’t know. I’d hate to be in this situation. He tried to game, but got gamed. Idk, it’s still hard for me to side with the “tenant” but she got the law on her side

Does she never leave the property?
The squatter laws are fugazi in my city too and sometimes landlords change the locks, take the doors off the property and turn off all the utilities
I heard of people being paid to "break into" the property in the middle of the night to spook the squatter too . Basically make it unsafe and miserable for them to stay there
