How does his mother sell her house and car to get a lawyer and then the lawyer insists Brain plead No Contest for a crime that he knows he didnt do?

I know there is conniving women out there that lie about being raped all the time, but for his lawyer to pull something like that is really upsetting to me. And unfortunately this happens all the time. The lawyers only want to get things over with as soon as possible alot of the times and dont actually care whether their client is innocent or guilty. Its a shame he had to spend time in jail for others laziness/greed.

Not just that, but there was no DNA evidence either. Everything about the case sounded like it was winnable.

You almost expect that type of shyt from a public defender on account that they're generally overworked and could give two shyts, but for a hired attorney to do some shyt like that is insane.

Seems to me like she felt some type of way about Banks and didn't believe him either. That's the only reason I can think of that she'd insist on him taking a plea deal for such a winnable case.

If he didn't take the deal he was looking at up to 41 years in jail, no parole. They were gonna throw the book at him. Probably saw the evidence and figure taking the plea was the best way out.

What evidence? It was a straight up "He said/She said" situation. There was no DNA evidence.

Or maybe she got her money and was lazy....

She didn't even let him talk to his mom about the plea deal. Just cornered him in a room and pressured him. He's 17 and she wouldn't let him consult his mom. She's a fukking judge now too.

Part of me wonders if she cut a deal with the DA's office to make him settle because it was such a high profile case. What other reason would she hide from cameras/questions about it?

Out here in my damn drawls
:snoop: And they wonder why dudes look a every woman who alledges rape like :usure:. If she can't prove it (and it's very hard to prove in alot of cases), then she's S.O.L, all because of roaches like this swine a$$ heaux and their triflin' heaux ways.

From now on, whenever I lay down with the broad, I'm hitting the audio record button on the Android :scheme:. It's not much evidence of anything, but it's better than nothin' when the prosecutor gets on yo a$$

i assume he had a public defender, dude was fuked from the start

Nope, it was a paid attorney.

Watch the vid that was posted, his mother sold her car and home just to pay for a shytty ass attorney. The attorney (who was a black woman) said he wouldn't receive a fair trial because of his age, race, and size.

The school didn't do anything wrong. They were victims in all of this too.

*edit*

The people who could and should be sued are the lying ass bytch, the state, and probably that shytty ass defense attorney.

Exactly, I got a little ways through the video and was thinking "well that's what happens when you get a public defender.." but then remembered his Mom selling her biggest assets (probably) to defend her son with a decent lawyer.

Then you hear the 60 minutes narrator say, "Brian's lawyer refused to interview with 60 minutes when asked". :beli:

Im really surprised at the laziness shown by the attorney, shameful stuff. This man had to spend years in jail for no reason at all. The attorney should retire and find a new job.
