The law doesn't work like that. He will be lucky if he’s not ot convicted of tresspassing and/or banned from the stadium.
But those were normal security guards and not law enforcement officers. They aren't authorized to do stuff like this unless dude was commiting a felony or actively hurting someone, as part of a citizen's arrest.


The proposer will win the case once the orthopedic surgeon bill comes in. And the tackler dude will be unemployed soon after.

I am pretty sure they have a security licenses that allows them to detain and remove people from a premises for disrupting business. Similar to a bouncer.

If people handled like this could sue we would see people disrupting games way more. Look at the white girls who were disrupting NBA games to protest animal mistreatment last year. They ragged doll those women and no way was there any chance anyone was getting sued.

All they have to do is say they were worried about player safety and the guy has no grounds to sue. Not to mention the venue probably has the rule to stay off the field printed on the ticket.

Like the dude who got his ass kicked running on stage with Dave Chappelle ain’t winning a law suit either.
