when i lived in the bronx/the city i got raped by tolls, now i can drive all the way from maine to midtown without a single one, ion even know how

the $14 congestion charge is gonna hurt tho

Maine to Midtown Manhattan? So you driving down I95 to the Bruckner expressway to the willis Ave bridge and drive down 2nd Ave? That’s the only way to avoid a toll lol

But NYC has the amenities (shopping, restaurants, nightlife) to at least justify this. A reason for people to go borough to borough. Bay area has very little of that, this is just taxing working people

try paying $9.50 each way on all the NYC crossings

try paying $16 one way on all the NJ crossings coming into NYC


Try paying $18 just to drive on the NJ turnpike from exit 1 to exit 16 just to get into NYC where you getting hit with another $16 just to cross the Hudson into NYC
