In Part 2 of this video, the kids wake up 48 hours later after falling in deep sleep after the meal.

44 bricks...acre shaker
Facts.

We have to stay working out in the South or we would all weigh 400 lbs.

Central Texas has a lot of German and Czech influence plus Black folks while East Texas is very much "Black/Southern BBQ."

The Central style is good with brisket but I think the East Texas style has better sides, sauce, chopped beef, hot links etc. It's more well-rounded IMO, but doesn't get the shine......because most folks coming from NYC, LA, Chicago etc, would go to Austin instead of Tyler, Marshall, Waskom, Beaumont etc. They get indoctrinated into thinking the white/Central TX style is the only representation when the Black/East TX style is older and (IMO) a better representation of good que.

Louisiana and Texas got the best food
its a spot in dallas near smu n addison..called oak'd one of the worse spots i even been ...its like everything has peppercorn on it

if ima eat peckerwood bbq im goin to hard 8 or terry black

Yup. Best tasting food in the States. The food alone makes me glad my people didn't migrate from the south lol
Calm yourself, who you think raised us??? No less than three girls who grew up in my building either cook soul food professionally or semi pro (selling plates). Me, my mama, and my brother all cook our ass off, better than some raised in the south judging by relatives reactions. :usure: On one side, my grandfather was a chef, cooking for Nicky Barnes and them on his off time (he did soul food, Italian, and kosher). On the other side, my uncle roasts a pig every 4th of July and my man's uncle is the same- both born and raised in the south, you know, older southern men who can cook. Growing up, my mother's 'friend,' born and raised in Savannah, used to tear up some catfish (which he caught out there with that same uncle I mentioned). He taught my man.

We maintain tradition in our homes up here. Since the 70's/80's, it's too expensive to get a storefront. My man's people used to own a soul food restaurant in Bk, but that was back in the day. We keep talking about a food truck.

man Them Beef ribs were :ohlawd:

Its feels like it’s hard to find placed that make beef ribs but the places that do it’s :wow:

That cornbread for those Brits, I wonder how it was made cuz cornbread can be hit or missed depending on how its made or who made it.

I’m not really a huge cornbread fan…. But there are a few places near me that make some glorious cornbread that’s better than the food at a few other spots
