Yeah I do t understand how he had running water at all.

If I’m late on a bill any payment goes to the unpaid part first so you are essentially always “late” until the bill is paid but not 90 days past due/third notice late.

City's are known for estimating bills based on averages in the neighborhood & not sending out bills for years then hitting you with a 6k bill out of nowhere. I didn't see my bill one time & tried for 2 days to get someone on the phone , both times I spent 4 hours combined to get a hold of someone & got how much my bill was then quickly paid the biaaatch so I wouldn't get late fees

Did he just stop paying the water bill? U go online to pay and it shows you the balance. How did it it accumulate up to $5000 in the first place?

Then it looks like he didn't receive any notices because his tenants threw the notices away. Why would they do that?

Looks like he was negligent and didn't read the laws of his county, where I live late property taxes are sent to the Treasury, once that happens u can't pay the city u have to pay where the bill was sent. Similar situation here.

I'm not sure, but what I do know is that there is a war taking place in America. These finance companies want all the houses so they can turn around and rent them out. Everyday i get scam likely calls from people trying to buy the house I just bought 3 yrs ago. If they can find a loophole to get u out of that property they will, they don't want individuals renting rooms Blackstone and similar companies want the whole house and all the rental income. I don't think people realize how cutthroat this business or this country is becoming

I know people who had builders prey on their small home and put a mansion on it. Turned a small 300k property into 5 milly one. Builder reported violations to govt. Big fine. put into debt. People gotta sell to pay the fine. People swoop in with cash. Gotta take it.

Boom whole neighborhood turns into mansions. Govt gets higher taxes. Builder made a bundle. They in it together.

This is a real thing thats been happening for a long time to older / poorer people in middle class neighborhoods.

And court documents only show one “attempt” in 2020 despite claims of numerous notices….
