Twirling isn't just folk shyt although they the ones who use it though the most. There's bloods and even some crops who twirl. GDs been in Brooklyn and some other parts of NY but mostly Brooklyn got a very long time.

Blicky is a small rap group from bk that's mostly just folk nikkas in it. Twirling can be used to define anything but it itself from my knowledge is like a gang. There's opposition like the Woo gang and other small gangs that rival them. My small cousins run with them GDs in Brooklyn so I would have ask them for actual definition but from what I seen, I know blicky and twirling are usually very connected. It's usually GDs but bloods and some crips twirl

I agree but technically, if someone is going to get involved in that underworld life, they have to be paired in with someone else who will be linked to a team of folks directly or indirectly to get on or to be able to get put on or put in that work whether it's a known gang or just an independent crew. Unless you're a stick up artist where even that you probaby are going to be associated with another crew to work for them robbing rivals. You're talking about like school kids doing it as a joke but a good portion of folks in that gang shyt are doing it to get put on. It just so happen that the folks that put them on are a gang and they have to scream that shyt in order to receive work.

The word twirl been around listen to juelz verse on you ain't got got nothing on me with Wayne and fab..there using it the same way..blicky can also mean a strap they also use the word flock which can also mean shooter..these are just slang used not necessarily a specific gang..since nikkas all talk the same anyways
