Above the fray.
You're taking to a San Fran CAC who poses as black on here and blatantly trolls in bad faith

You've been warned brother
Thanks. I've been called a "cac" here by those who disagreed with my opinions, so will examine that guys other posts.
Whatever his actual background is, he comes across like a clown in this thread.

I can’t wait til the Black world finally makes to correlation between the very obvious subterfuge being conducted on Black internationalism and the future potential of the African continent and its diaspora in the Americas and Asia.

It’s like we’re presented very obvious clues for collective liberation but rather than linking up most of us would rather stay in the white mans sandbox and play with his toys under his supervision.

Did y’all know that Rwanda is a part of a multi-nation effort to unite the Great Lakes region of East Africa into one political entity? It’s called the “East African Federation”. This would create Africa’s first potential superpower. Places like Tanzania are also on the come up. But of course, sudden fighting has broken out between Rwanda and Congo as they were closing in on making the superstate a reality.

Don’t let these crackers fool you, they are hellbent at destroying our capacity to unite and do for ourselves. We need the diaspora because these govts in the West are focused on stunting the growth of Africa and likewise these African states have to be inspired and educated by the diaspora and it’s struggle so as to not only help them in their struggle but to also fully understand the very nature of the global system of collective white neuroticism.

I'm starting to have infatuation with Rwanda so props for this. Hoping this new job on my horizon gives me an opportunity to travel there.

For all the ex-pat back to Africa talk that goes on on this forum, Africa will have several places that will pop over the next 30 years, if you really about that businebusand want to get out of the US, Rwanda/East African Bloc wouldn't be a bad place to settle if we're rolling the dice on where that next boom will be.

Agree with some of this. Not everybody will naturally align with other Black people. They are free to feel that way.
But anybody who was swayed by propaganda into feeling that way was too naive to benefit/contribute from any meaningful exchange with other Black people.
It's 2022, people are ignorant because they WANT to be, not because they don't have access to information.

=======
Disagree with the part about the diasporans in relation to the ones who are from the continent. I think that exchange of ideas, skills, and experiences is of equal benefit to all parties. I don't think Africans need their direct diasporans or the general diaspora to understand or better understand their histories or the nature of white supremacy and exploitation. They lived through colonialism, and live through post colonial effects of dealing with white govts and business interests.
We lived through, and live through different history and interaction with those same systems.
The "we know better" stance is the wrong one, in my opinion. We know differently is more like it.

I disagree. A good deal of the school systems on the continent are copy and paste jobs from the colonial era. So many Africans from the continent get a late start compared to people in the diaspora. I can safely say that as a child of African immigrants. That’s no disrespect and it’s not to make a sweeping generalization but the power dynamics are different compared to what’s dealt with in America. Many of my people are cosplaying Americans and confused about why Black people from America are seeking Africanity at all. That’s a huge sign of miseducation.

We need each other. The struggle isn’t separate it’s all interconnected within the Black world. There are things the diaspora can provide and vice versa. The effects of colonization and the current neocolonial order is just as much connected with the domestic colony that is Black people in America. We need each other’s efforts.

You know what gimmick I'm talking about. And the next two successive peaceful transfers of power will determine whether this growth and development "won't last" or "will last".
Your "expert" prognostication notwithstanding.

What “gimmick”? Enlighten everyone reading this thread.

Reminding everyone that Rwanda helped kill 5 million Congolese is a “gimmick”?

Kigali, Nairobi and Dar Es Salam are fast evolving. Africa is going to the next level. People underestimate how quickly a city can become the "go-to place". Like nobody was talking about Dubai 20 years ago, but now its one of the tourist spots in the WORLD. Africa got next up for the 2030's and 40's

You're right. Nairobi looks like Dallas from the air.

Your first post here used a smilie as you went on to list potential problems for that country, including the oppression of an ethnic group.
Think I've seen this faux concern/ jokes & smilies while discussing violence & bloodshed GIMMICK used by you in threads before.

The insensitive and disingenuous
nature undermines whatever point you pretend to make.

Clear enough?

Genocides and atrocities are serious business. Rwanda is still in the process of coming to terms with its own.

And will have to work to come to terms with atrocities committed against other people.

Why are folks in this thread praising a dictatorship that kills and plunders fellow black Africans?

Rwanda is still killing people in the Congo and you don’t care. Why? Are you a Tutsi supremacist?

Kigali has been #1 on my wife and I’s list of where we want to go if/when we finally leave the US. We were planning on visiting right around when the pandemic hit and then put everything on hold. Would like to visit in the near future.
