No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
Lashley was the buggest f up cuz it was a no lose scenario

I understand why they ket mark henry chill in the midcard for ten years but dude seriousky stepped it up when he grew the dreads n was tossing bums round

Shelton maybe coulda been on the same level as guys like edge, rvd and jericho so that was a f up

Never liked killings. Still dont know what tsc has seen in MVP the past ten years cuz i thibk hes trash as fukk (his outfit as well was garrrtbadge).

Jay lethal would be upper tier if he came in today with all the indy guys like balor, owens, austin aires etc etc

Kofi is dope but hes IC level guy. I dont find xavier to be anything special and id like to see big e get another run solo cuz hes "a 4 mic mc with 5 mic potential"

Lashley tho had SUPERstar written all over. Coulda been the next cena

Kofi, and I still see something there. If New Day can hold on as a group, I see the scenario where Woods/E are eliminated and they do everything to help Kofi win the Rumble (distracting guys, pulling them over the ropes when refs aren't looking, etc, etc). I felt like they were teasing this as a joke for this year's Rumble but I think it actually could work. The fukkery entrance for his title match at WM would be something.

One of the few guys left that could genuinely pull off the boyhood dream/full crowd support behind him on the road to WM (especially if it's against Roman :lolbron:)

One of newday shpuld be competing in the universal title ranks. New day should be the universal champion right now

I'm giving these cacs till the summer to get that shyt figured out or I'm taking a break from wrestling. shyt pisses me off that they're moving all that merch and they got these nikkas "hosting wrestlemania" instead of putting them in real feuds.

It's becoming too comedy act for me now, when before it was a healthy balance betwen good wrestling/serious threat and "a bunch of dudes who are good friends just having fun"

Big E is just as charismastic and engaging on the mic and Kevin Owens - if not more so. He's also a legit physical specimen. Kofi and him are both Universal Title material. Xavier may not be the right fit for that but he's EXTREMELY talented. I'd say his particular skill set benefits most from the New Day mold.

The biggest fukk up was Truth imo

He was right there for the picking and poof he loses to Cena. He needed that win man :smh:

He was on fire in that fued.

MeanMark getting injured during his run derailed his momentum. He managed to go over Orton and win the belt. Who the future know expected that shyt?

MVP looked like he would of gone far but I think the fact that he couldn't travel overseas is the reason that they didn't give him the green light.

Shelton's mic skills held him back...simple as that!

Lashley was gonna be the one. I truly believe it but the backstage incident that led to his departure fukked him up.

Give MVP's moveset to any IWC favorite from the last 10 years and they'd be :gladbron: at it because it was Puro influenced. I need to rewatch that Benoit feud to see this shytty ring work :mjpls:

I agree on a lot of these points. It seems to me that it's hard to find guys that are good blends. The talented in-ring guys with the appealing images are SUPER talented and athletic, but they don't seem to buy into the character and truly own it....OR they're iffy on the mic. (Kofi's/Shelton/Crews)

The guys that are superb on the stick and great with embracing their characters are either hindered by age, lack of image, or floundering athleticism. (MVP/Henry/Woods/Lethal)

As far as current guys, I could see Big E making noise in the main event because New Day's given him a chance to get more than comfortable on the mic and the crowd sees that he puts in WORK with the hot tags. He's had a chance to establish signatures and show that he can adapt his character.

All it'd take is either a program where he turns on Kofi and Woods and has emotional matches with them OR having him shine in a tournament for a shot at the title the way TNA built Bobby Roode from tag title to main event star in that Bound For Glory series. Have him work a few great matches with Cesaro and knock off Reigns in the finals. He'd be a made man.

I'm kind of losing faith in Crews because he's got the look and the working potential to be one of the guys, ESPECIALLY on Smackdown. Put him in there with Styles and you're probably getting a classic but it's like he doesn't have that ACTOR switch that a guy like Woods or Lethal has. He's got that constant "corpsing" vibe of someone that's afraid to fully embrace that he IS a Apollo Crews and not a guy playing Apollo Crews on TV. He should've been left to develop a bit more, but there's always time.

I've got the most bank on Cedric Alexander.
He's got the talent. He's got the look. He's got the indy pedigree. He's essentially Balor with more dimension. :sas2:

HHH already seems high on him. Put him on Raw and in a car with Owens (who loves him), so he can get the character psychology in tune. His style is perfect for a true baby-face run and these shows are desperate for a baby-face that both smarks & casuals dig NOT named Sami Zayn.
Forgot to mention Cedric, he SHOULD be a star. He has everything you could ask for. If Balor can become champ there's no reason Cedric can't be.

Lashley, Shelton and def MVP deserved a run with the World title. Especially when you have guys like Swagger and Dolph getting runs and those guys lack in other areas as well. They struck gold with Henry with the Hall of Pain but it was ended prematurely. A big reason WWE doesn't push black wrestlers is because they don't know how to fully tap into the black audience.

I'm holding out for New Day tho

the one thing tho @luckyse7enz you look at the guys the wwe DID put the belt on Khali, Dolph, Miz, Swagger, Bray, Balor. none of those guys are the total package or big draws. but they all got a chance. there's no reason the Black wrestlers shouldn't have got one. Shelton was the only one you could maybe say, well the talent above him was too deep

The only guys from that list that'd count are Khali, Miz, and Balor (I suppose...not sure how the Universal Title is viewed) since a lot of guys don't seem to count holding the Big Gold as truly being THE champion but I do agree that one of these guys makes more sense than those 3.

I don't see it with Kofi when it comes to being a main show main event champion. New Day showed that he's a bit more comfortable, but not in a way that's compelling. Big E comes off as emotionally legit (coming back from injury and big moments where he's sacrificing himself in matches) .

Woods comes off as emotionally legit (especially in that feud with the Wyatts).

I haven't seen the big "it" moments with Kofi that makes me go "he could do it without these other two guys."

Part of me wonders (and it's something we don't seem to consider often) if New Day stays together because they move so much merch and get so many great opportunities (interviews, ESPN, advertisement spots, TV time, merch ideas coming to life) as a collective with less wear-and-tear on their bodies since they can alternate in-ring. :jbhmm:

One guy having the belt is nice, but they probably don't want to leave one guy on an island. :ld:

It's laziness from WWE. ROH and TNA have pushed black wrestlers and have gotten financial success and great matches. Even Bill Watts of all people (:mjpls:) knew that pushing black wrestlers would be good for business.
