And whats the average miles you do per day?
My moms ex/business partner said 3000 miles a week aint nothin and should be easy to do

That seems like a lot to me :lupe:
Im comfortable just drving to where I could take a short break every 2 hours. Then a hour break after the 4th hour.

yea i usually start my days no later than 6 and shutdown around 4. Depending on where im at. For example, if im an hour away from a major city then i may head out like 4 or 5 so i can get through that city before rush hour.

your miles will vary. if you have to get loaded/unloaded and they take forever to load you, then you might not be able to get as many miles before your time runs out. Of course traffic is always a factor. But a GOOD day you can run 500+ miles. The most ive ever did was 613

I dont believe in saggin in the "workplace" to begin with but it was funny to me.

Not only was in the rule that we repeated out of the 40+, but at the end of this list, the teacher told us get out our pens and write this down "NO SAGGIN PANTS"!
Just the whole hour how they really stressed that rule, out of the billion of other things.
Claim that they're trying to "change the image" that people have of truck drivers since their not good :dead:



Well the rule must have so kinda of story/history behind it for why its was emphasized so much... Good for them

You're out in Texas so finish your contract and get into the oilfield, I'm going tomorrow to get my Tanker/Hazmat endorsement. I've been in contact with Stevens Trans. just to hear their pitch but I'm definitely coming out that way real soon.
They paying a lot for that?

Remember most of your day is SITTING, so you wont be working off what you eat. Try to get in a habit of not eating too late in the day and when you Do eat, try to have something healthy and not too heavy. Stay off the sodas and junk food.
Word, sodas is bad for you and I've been soda free for six years. Good advice and tell him that goin Vegan helps too :youngsabo:
