This might be blasphemy but it's hard for me to see the all time greatness of Isiah Thomas.

That's just me. There have been so many guards over the years that in my mind, loom larger.

The narrative is he beat prime jordan,magic & bird

Reality says he beat prime jordan(had a better team) , bird and magic were either injured/declining but nobody remembers that. Zeke never beat all 3 in there primes but gets hyped like he did

I don't mind it. A few disagreements about tiers but overall love the idea of grouping the GOATs by tiers instead of ranking them. Jokic is a title from moving up a tier IMO but wouldn't be mad if someone put him tier 2. Same with Giannis. Hakeem should be up one tier as well.

Yes...

Giannis has plenty of worthy criticism on his postseason play, but it's a substantially better resume than Garnett's. Garnett had a 10-year prime, 1998-2008, Giannis is currently in around a 9-year prime, 2016 to present. It's been a more impressive run than Garnett's across the board...

Kareem overrated to me but he does belong in tier 1. Magic too off accolades alone

Obviously Jordan & Lebron separated themselves and can be in their own tier of accolades/accomplishments but how can you leave Kareem out? He’s not the goat imo not even close but he’s in that tier off his accolades

Kobe will forever be tier 1 to me. He did something that nobody has ever done in the NBA except Hakeem Maybe. Say what you want, Pau Gasol was in NBA 8 years and never made All NBA before playing with Kobe and was all star once, and Lamar a bonafide crack fiend was all star once, lets not forget a 35 year old PG.

Kobe went to 3 straight finals with that team.

Sure, put Kobe in tier 1 if you're going to put Lebron and Mike in a tier above that one.
