His single was a die hard flop, don't think any label would keep promoting an artist music after that lol
His new song did even worselast album was a weedplate so am not surprised

Guys like Joey would benefit greatly from being free agents in this climate. Look at the artists that have mastered the D2C experience. What did the label really offer him?
Joey’s music hasn’t really done shyt in the last decade besides that one album he dropped with the American flag on the cover but it was forgettable.
I guess he just wanted to eat and live off the advances which I imagine was a few million. Now they’re controlling his music and output because he wanted the bread
Crazy I’m listening to Larry June right now who did the complete opposite and has blown up and has wayyyy more motion than Joey has ever had. I guess other than when he first dropped back when he was a teenager with his little crew. Larry still rich as fukk too and gets to release what he wants, whenever he wants. His show here in Toronto last summer was sold out
Joey just doesn’t seem “active” in the game like that, despite the features here and there. The battle raps were cool though
Should have hollered at Rotimi for how to pivot from TV back to musicThese rappers be around 10 plus years and be having label problems. It don’t help that he ain’t a household name or anything., Maybe the buzz from this will help![]()
Kendrick wouldn't dare diss him, he knows Joey just wants Hip-hop to be competitive againHe just gave Kendrick a free one shot kill.....how you calling yourself a king when your own label treating you like a peasant
