I'm actually 5'11".

My goal is to get shredded like Brad Pitt in fight club. Sub 10% body fat is my goal. I'm not interested in being swole. More mass is actually bad for longevity. I want to live a long healthy lifestyle and to do that you gotta be as lean as possible.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Wonderful things happen when you live a fasting focused lifestyle. Fasting for 72+ hours boosts growth hormone and stem cell production massively. That could be whats helping me make these remarkable gains.

Its crazy how much more efficient my body is now. What I say next might be a bit graphic but bear with me cause it illustrates my point. One major change I've noticed lately since I started fasting is that I don't shyt anymore. Even after I eat my huge meals on the refeed days I don't have to use the restroom for several days. Its like my body has realized I only feed it every 72 hours so its no longer just discarding food after I eat. Its holding onto the food for as long as it can and taking every single nutrient out. I only lay 1 or 2 small turds in the toilet now once a week. Its freaking weird cause I use to shyt once a day in the past and they were huge loads.

what are your meals like when you finally do eat?

Speak for yourself. I fukkin love fasting. I feel so much better now living thus way than eating everyday. If anything my refeed days are the worst. I love the days when I'm fasting.

Even after I reach my body composition goal I'll continue to live this fasting focused lifestyle. Its super easy and feels great.

how do you do it. If I don’t eat for 8 hours I feel like I’m dying

Do the meals change from those days from higher calories?

Not really. I still eat the same I've only changed my eating frequency. Now instead of eating everyday I only eat once every 3 days. I still eat plenty of "junk food" like Pizza and Burgers. It just now happens in one sitting every 3 days. With that said, I also try to eat healthy foods like eggs, chicken, vegetables, and fruits as well so that my meals are as nutritous as possible. But I do not run away from eating a couple of slices of pizza or some ice cream for dessert.

This is what people don't get about weight loss. Our weight is controlled by our bodies hormones. In particular the hormone insulin. When insulin levels are high your body does not burn stored fat for fuel. When insulin levels are low your body will burn stored fat for fuel. To lower insulin levels to the point where fat burning begins you need to fast for 24+ hours. And obviously the longer your insulin levels remain low the longer you burn fat. So it doesn't really matter what you eat. As long as you fast long enough your body will go right into fat burning mode and burn stored body fat. This is how I've managed to get lean as fukk while still eating foods like Pizza and Burgers that most will say are unhealthy.

Why would it need to feed on stored reserves if it’s not in starvation mode?

Starvation mode is when you run out of stored fat reserves and the body starts to feed on its own muscle. You aren't starving when your body is in ketosis. Everything in your body is functioning just fine. You are also not hungry because the body represses the hunger hormone Ghrelin.

Our bodies evolved for cycles of fasting and feasting. Just look at lions. They eat once every week or so. After eating a full gazelle in one sitting they lay on their ass for a week before hunting again. Is the lion in starvation mode? Nope. He's building crazy amounts of muscle off that one meal as he lays there.

We evolved similarly. Our ancestors would not be hunting animals everyday. They would be lucky to get a kill every few days. So when they got that kill they would eat a huge ass meal. Then they would fast for the next few days before going back at it again. Cycles of feasting and fasting is what our bodies evolved to do. Right now I'm just living in accordance with how our ancestors used to eat.

:mjlol: this is not going to end well.

How come? My body has changed dramatically in 2 months. I've gotten crazy lean while maintaining the same strength. I have more energy. My mental acuity has improved. People say I even look younger.

This fasting focused lifestyle is the best decision I've ever made when it comes to my health.

A lion has a very different digestive tract than human beings. :unimpressed:

That's the ideal weight for a man whose 5'11". I just need to get down to sub 10% body fat at that weight and I'm good. My body composition goal is to look as lean and ripped as Brad Pitt in Fight Club.

My natural body weight is around 175-185 lbs. However, for longevity purposes its best to be leaner than your body natural set point. All throughout nature we see that the smaller animals in a species tend to live longer. Just look at men and women. On average women live longer than men in large part because women are smaller than men.

Having lots of mass on you causes stress on the body which leads to early death. When you are lean you reduce the stress on your arteries and nerves. You reduce inflammation. You reduce the amount of energy your body has to dispense just to move you around. All in all there are so many health benefits to being lean that you would be a fool not to do it.
