This my caloric deficit. My food intake today so far.

Oatmeal cornmeal peanut porridge
Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich
Arizona icetea
2 slices of pepperoni pizza
Protein shake
Water

Later I'll have a fried snapper with festival and maybe half a jerk chicken and a salad and another protein shake

how many calories is that altogether?seems like a lot for a cut

Dry fasting all the time is probably dumb. But from time to time it can be beneficial. It gives your kidneys a break. It allows them to clean themselves out. Some believe it also leads to other health benefits throughout the body. It definitely burns more fat than a normal water fast.

I don't do dry fasts that often because I do get more lower energy levels when I don't have water than I do on a normal water fast. But I will continue to sprinkle them in every now and then.
Letting your kidneys run dry is not giving them a break, quite the opposite in fact. You sound like these white women who eat their own placenta because they believe it gives them health benefits.

Stop trying to derail this thread with bullshyt. Before slavery this is how our ancestors lived. They were feasting and fasting. Eating huge meals at one time then going days without food.

True. Its really only a momentary break cause the body has the ability to create its own water from mixing the oxygen we breathe with hydrogen locked in our cells. Its why even when I dry fast for 2 days I still end up pissing a bunch. Even if it doesn't fully give my kidneys a break it provides tremendous fat loss in a short period of time. They say dry fasting is 3x more effective than a water fast. So a 2 day dry fast is the equivalent of water fasting for 6 days.

Ancestors of the original man. And if you don't know who the original man is then I can't help you. Most of the world's remaining hunter-gatherers live in Africa and are still practicing this lifestyle to this day. San Bushmen typically track animals that they are hunting for several days and lots of miles. Then when they make the kill they eat the whole animal in one day (because there are obviously no refrigerators in the desert). Then they rest and start the cycle up again.

Our ancestors were not eating everyday. They were definitely not eating 3 meals a day. They would eat every few days after they made a big kill. The rest of the time was spent tracking animals which expended lots of energy. This is why I'm telling ya'll you can fast and still get intense workouts in. Our bodies evolved to work even when we haven't had food for several days because it was necessary to survival.

Why do people keep saying this? Its not water weight when you dry fast (aka consume no water or food) for 48 hours before weighing in. The first response to this thread saying my scale could be broke was actually the best counter thus far.

If we had to evolve in order to be able to last for 3 days without eating then we weren’t originally designed to do that.

In fact we are more like the original man now than ever :mjgrin:
