Is the batter super thick like popeyes?

Yeah. And it's a bad thing. It was so thick that it was like crunchy and hard. It was wayyy too much batter/breading.

I told my boy about it and he got one a few days later and they overcooked it. His sandwich was drk Brown nearly black and the shyt was too crunchy.

We both agreed the chicken part was fire. They just over did it with the breading batter.
