I overall have great times in Kenya but even I (a person with tons of money) had issues from time to time due to being a foreigner. Trying to write it off as class just tells me you haven't been to many if any African cities where its really evident the various divisions that exist not just pertaining to class.

My mother had two east africans friends, years ago, way before ados. She cut one off bc she refused to hire ados; the other, bc she seemed weirdly racist against... how do i say this... phenotypically stereotypical west africans.

Out here in LA we have Soul food places and other Black American owned businesses and they have Non-Black American (Black people) working there, but if you go to a Non-Black American (Carribean/African) owned spot, you will not see Black Americans working there.

The crazy part is that these Africans and Carribeans have always done that and when us Black Americans say we are going to do they same and look out for us only, then the Black Immigrants want to call us Xenophobic lol.
