Philly. Fucc a Eagle. I mean dat.
WE BYKE
New assistant coach, he'll be the defensive coordinator and wifed up with Nia Long, I'm hype to see her in the crowds :noah:

Apparently breh is a really good coach, and we need a good defensive coach. We had all the talent, but it didn't come together right for most of the year
Also snagged a player development and shooting coach from the Spurs who learned under Chip Engelland, he's here to especially help Ben but this will be big for a lot of the young guys like Zhaire, Bolden, Shake, whoever we draft(hopefully Thybulle), etc.

That’s big news. Love it

Boban 90% chance of staying in Philly in his eyes, he loves it here. Big deal for us because of how much Tobias loves the guy, should help in bringing Tobias back

You want Harris back for the max?

The cap holds for Butler, Redikk, and Mike Scott alone leave us with only 8mil to spend to fill up our entire bench and find a new starter in Tobi's place, and since we opened cap space we get the Room MLE which is ~4.5mil to additionally spend. Pretty bad spot to be in, and we have no cap space next year anyway because we extend Ben next year

Bringing back Harris is clearly the best play then, and in doing so you might as well give him the max since you're capped out even if you got him back on a big discount. Doing this also lets us keep the cap holds for Boban and Ennis building up our bench more, and since we never had cap space cleared we get the non-tax MLE which is worth $9.1mil and an additional bi-annual exception worth $3.5mil to build up the bench even more

I still wouldn't do it and I hope Brand doesn't. There are better FA PF's out there that offers more than what Tobias does for the max:hubie:

And if Ben doesn't develop some sort of jump shot by next season, I would look to trade him mid season if we can instead of giving him an extension

My nikka we'd have 8mil in cap space to find a starting PF and fill out our whole bench how do you think that's better than resigning Tobias, keeping our bench, and having larger exceptions to sign new players:dwillhuh:

Looking at these finals like :picard:

Half sick Jojo and no real pg and we took Toronto to game 7 and lost on a miracle shot.

Run this squad back damnit :damn:
Not only that, but Kawhi's been not nearly the same guy against Milwaukee and GSW. The Kawhi that played us was on another level, like MJ type shyt. We really wore him out for these other crews, he's been great but not nearly what we faced. He's been slower, shots not falling the same, limping around. Crazy.

Our starting 5 had 12 regular season games with all 5 together, we had no time to build any kinda chemistry and right now looks like could've won the title. Imagine what we can be next year with chemistry, an improved bench, and an improved Embiid and Simmons

Run it back!

New Jersey in a new jersey
its crazy but y'all played us the best and took a miracle shot from kawhi to eliminate
and now y'all want to blow it up?
:whoa: No we want the same team back blowing it up is the last thing we want to do lol. There’s mostly sane fans here now our area’s sports talk radio scene and local sports writers suggest stupidity like blowing it

Only people who wanna blow it up are people who don't understand our cap situation in the slightest and wanna throw out horrible hot takes, and even most of those people wanna run it back
