My nikka we'd have 8mil in cap space to find a starting PF and fill out our whole bench how do you think that's better than resigning Tobias, keeping our bench, and having larger exceptions to sign new players:dwillhuh:

Tobias is a one way player. Giving him the max would just be dumb. From a numbers standpoint I see what you're saying but I'm talking from a talent standpoint. There shouldn't be no "might as well" as you said when it comes to this team. Brett not getting fired is already bad enough

breh do you realize we literally have like no other viable option though? Sure in a vacuum Harris isn't a max player, but that's not important. Bringing him back is objectively the best move we can make moving forward, and if you're gonna bring him back there's no reason to not max him since we'll be capped out forever anyway. Bringing him back even lets us build a better bench

Tobias also played much better defense in the playoffs.

Y'all doing big things with the staffing hires.

I need y'all to keep Harris and Butler not trying to see them on my team.

I watched him the playoffs. The nikka can't guard a chair. He couldn't even score close to the basket point blank. We'll agree to disagree at this point. Mook would be a better option. Hell even Mirotic would be a better option. We shall see how this plays out at this point but Tobias ain't the answer for us at PF imo

A Mirotic that Milwaukee benched? Besides, I don't think $8mil would be enough for those guys anyway unless you want to can Mike Scott too and get to $14mil in cap space. Even then, you've once again now completely depleted your bench.

On top of Simmons, Embiid, Butler, Redikk, Zhaire, Bolden you can have the following options:

Tobias, Boban, Scott, Ennis, McConnell, $9mil MLE, and $3.5 BAE
or
Mirotic, $4.5mil MLE

Even if Mirotic or Mook were as good as Tobias(which they're not), the first option is clearly better than the second.

I recommend you rewatch some of those playoff games, because what you're saying about Tobias' defense literally isn't true and you were probably biased from how he played often in the regular season. He was off offensively, it was his first time in this kind of position and he had to adjust very quickly to playing with our crew. What he lacked in scoring he added though in improved defense, good rebounding, and improved playmaking. Give him time to adjust and settle in with the crew like Paul George did in OKC, and people also forget that Harris is only 26 years old and clearly still developing his game.

Thybulle been my guy :wow: really happy we have him
Amazing defender, I think he'll be an alright shooter this year. Sad we got rid of pick 42 for nothing, would've loved to have taken Bol Bol for the hell of it, who knows what'll happen at the end of the draft
hope we draft my nikka shizz tho just cause that's my boy

I seen so many people crying over trading those picks. I glad to see common sense in here it’s refreshing :ahh:the teams in win now mode. None of those 2nd rounders were going to put us over the top plus we have to have mins for Zhaire, Tybulle, and Shake to develop. They had some shooters on the board but all this crying over Carson Edwards has me like :comeon: for every one Nate Robinson, Isaiah Thomas, Lou Williams there’s 20 more Pierre Jackson/Isaiah Cannons drafted at bul’s size :yeshrug:

Not gonna lie, I was a little heated to see Boston get Carsen Edwards.

I do like Thybulle a lot, but they can't telegraph picks like that. Ainge took advantage of Elton the way Hinkie took advantage of Orlando when he drafted Elfrid Payton and held him hostage for Saric and a future first. In the future that kinda shyt could cost us more.

Kawhi might take a visit here and if we pull that off (I doubt we will but still) we'd be immediate title favorites.

A report came out that Memphis was targeting Tybulle that’s the main reason they had to deal with Boston not because the Celtics were going to grab him. Brand said all along he wanted to get someone to come right in that could immediately help so his targets were Tybulle and Johnson :yeshrug: Phoenix reached heavily for Johnson so they weren’t going to lose out on both.
