Maybe I'm missing it..... Why the hell y'all like Harris so much? From what I saw, he wasn't doing much of anything but missing shots all playoffs... There's gotta be somebody in the NBA FA market better than that.. Especially for that much damn money.. I know we don't have the cap, but signing and trading him would make more since. Jimmy was our second best player

You need shooters playing alongside Simmons and Embiid, and the FA market for stretch fours is pretty thin. I'm chalking up his playoff performance to first-time playoff nerves. At 26 with a full training camp to get situated, I'm confident he'll look better next season. He played better in Game 7 than Butler.

Honestly would rather pick up Bojan Bogdanovic. He can do everything Tobias does and probably a fraction of the cost.

He could max Jimmy, sign BB, and still have money to get another bench piece.

Philly bouls, Trust the Process
I can realistically say Jimmy to Miami could just be a ploy to get a 5th year out of us, fukk our owners if they're too cheap to pay Jimmy tho

If he wants to go to Miami, I'm cool with a sign-and-trade for Bam, JRich, and Herro and then have some cap room too maybe

Alright the options as I see it if Jimmy leaves:

1. Jimmy to Heat:
Sign-and-trade to Miami, Philly receives Josh Richardson
You have 25.5mil in cap space, offer DLo 110/4yr
Russell, Richardson, Simmons, Harris, Embiid
Harris at 26 becomes the oldest player in a young starting 5 that can grow together

2. Jimmy to Clippers:
Sign-and-trade to Clippers, Philly Receives Lou Williams(opens up 2max slots for Clippers to get Kawhi)
27.6mil in cap space, offer DLo the max
Russell, MLE, Simmons, Harris, Embiid
Lou Will 6th man

Alternatives to 1 and 2, use cap space instead of giving it to DLo on guys like Danny Green, build your bench, etc.

3. Jimmy walks and we get nothing in return

34.7mil in cap space, you obviously throw the max at Kawhi, but he's probably not coming. You can offer DLo a max, have ~8mil left to spend, and an MLE, you can spend all that on role players to distribute it more evenly, etc.

You almost had it right. Horford instead of Russell. We got three shooters who can defend to go with Ben and Jo. I like it.

We still need a backup PG.

Not a Josh Richardson fan, but whatever. At least we got something for Jimmy.
And Dallas 3rd team in trade, maybe more players in the deal?
