Al Horford Unhappy With How His First Season Is Going With Sixers

I take it more as he’s disappointed with how he’s performed, not unhappy being here.

I still can't for the life of me figure out why O'Quinn doesn't more PT....he's a defensive beast in the paint...seems like I see him every 10 games or so

I get that it just confirms everything I’ve been saying about him. He’s been trash . He’d probably be more effective coming off the bench. So we’ve had Butler, Tobias, Embiid, and now Horford all struggle with Brett’s offense yet Josh Harris hasn’t figured out yet Brett is a good coach for bringing talent out of trash to average players but struggles to coach talent. Our record is deceiving this team is not playing well and our record should be much better. We are under-achieving and some changes have to happen or we’re going to struggle in the 1st round of the playoffs forget the 2nd round if they continue to play the way they have.

Brehs do yourselves a favor and not tune into every single game, the regular season is gonna be a rollercoaster ride full of highs and lows and there's no sense in getting yourselves worked up over every loss.


However I have made myself clear that I believe we need to totally scrap our current offensive scheme and begin anew, this current roster cannot be running dribble hand offs for the majority of the game when we don't have shooters or shot creators like JJ and Jimmy coming off those screens anymore.

Ben needs to be taken off the ball and used more as a screener/roll man in the offense. We should run the offense through Embiid and Horford out of the high post with constant off ball screening for shooters.

This roster isn’t built to win during the season it’s built to face Milwaukee in the playoffs. However they might lose against a team like the Pacers, Nets, or Magic in the 1st round. We don’t have enough offensively to match with smaller/quicker teams. Al slows down our offense and he doesn’t bring it defensively like he should. He’s showing his age I want to get rid of him. If we don’t do that he has to come off the bench.

Whether people want to admit it or not the East has become tougher than the West. Just look at the records in both conferences. The only reason people still claim the West is better is because the Clippers and Lakers. The Sixers have had 2 50+ seasons that ended in the 2nd round. Brett got out coached by Brad Stevens and Ben and Embiid cost us the Toronto series. You had Jimmy questioning Brett last yr along with Biid and Tobias. Now you have Horford and Richardson basically saying dudes aren’t giving it their all. Jimmy came out and said not everyone on the team is committed to win. That’s on Brett this team winning 50 games and getting bounced in the playoffs year after year just puts us back into the Iverson era. This team talent wise is capable of much more and we are under achieving under Brett. Those tank guys sucked but they at least gave it their all.

Its not the record im concerned with but lack of consistency and identity. If Brett doesn't get us passed round 2 this year, its time to move on from him.

Too much talent on this roster...Jojo/Simmons been playing together too long to not make the ECF.

I still believe after the all-star break this team will click and get it together
