Can you be more specific with your question? Are you saying they're not buying land in a specific country or in Africa overall? I can assure you they been buying land and building businesses. Most recently in Ghana I passed by at least two or three Chinese-built and owned casinos

Yeah that’s building a business not owning the land. The land is still owned by Ghana the government. They still retain their sovereignty

The continent has labor (working age population) now it needs the two other challenging parts: (1) capital (plants factories equipment infrastructure etc...) and (2) Technology that makes the output process more efficient. These two are not were they should be due to badly run govts. In addition, labor alone is not sufficient, you need quantity and QUALITY (i.e educated trained and skilled workforce) so they can come up with innovations to make processes more efficient.

I played Go-Go music for Africans. Sounded weird to them, They use horns way more in modern African music than drums. I don't hear Congo drums used in Modern African music but it's required for ADOS and Afro Carribbean music.
