Like I said in the other post. I did do my big chop already. My grandpa had very straight hair so I'm not sure if my hair is just gonna be somewhat like that or not. It's still thick and course but I don't have to do any hair stretching like the other women cause I don't have hardly any curls or shrinkage

Real talk I didn't know there were so many different natural hair styles. Sometimes I look my girl hair and I'm like

They used a flat iron to straighten it and it ruined the texture of her hair. She had to cut off 3 inches of damaged hair after like 3 months

I believe it. But it doesn't bother me. I wish all races to be successful not just blacks. If black people owned a shop they would get customers too. To me what gets me is women who wear all that damn weave and wigs. It cool if you are just trying to play around with your hair but if you are doing it because you hate your hair it's just sad.

It's a lot longer than it seems due to shrinkage. If she pulls it all the way out, it's probably down to her shoulders now. And yeah I've seen it out the bun.

Yeah that shyt is really disheartening, but I'm gonna make sure I do my part in fixing that. I'm gonna try to find a business mentorship program for black folks and join.
