motioning the judge to keep your name out of the lawsuit because you say theres no evidence then when the judge denies that motion so you are named then turning around and admitting you had sex with her seems to be legally stupid. just seems like some quagmire logic, i dont want to go to jail but i really really want to take credit for having sex with a high school chick 38 years ago. iono maybe since there are other parties in the lawsuit he wouldnt have been able to settle and keep his name out of it, but that would seem like the better option.

Exactly they were filming during the day, it was summer school and a whole bunch of kids etc. were watching them filming.
The lawsuit first filed in December 2022 and amended on May 1 accuses Scott of sexual battery and false imprisonment. Scott, 64, fought to have his name removed from court documents, but a judge denied his request to be identified only as "John Doe." The amended complaint named him publicly for the first time.
During a visit from the Lakers when the plaintiff was attending summer classes at Campbell Hall High in Los Angeles, "she was sexually assaulted by Byron Scott in a locked janitor's closet in the high school gymnasium," according to the court filing. Scott was a Lakers player at the time.
The lawsuit was filed in 2022 under a California law that temporarily allowed older cases to be filed for underage plaintiffs. That law required the defendant to remain anonymous until certain thresholds were crossed.
Scott's attorney, Linda Bauermeister, said her client doesn't deny that sexual contact occurred but maintains that he thought the girl was of legal age.

It’s difficult to judge. People were definitely wildin and stuff like coercion and assault could be in the mix for some cases but theres also always been hoes and if you remove phone cameras and the internet putting them on blast you’re going to see some wild shyt. Fast forward to today and now being a hoe on camera is promoted so idk what’s what anymore.
