Yes, that's what I was saying. Just wanted to exclude wic. Actually section 8 is a little different depending on where the voucher originates. It's based on the person's income and will count cs as income ofcourse, but they can't demand you name another parent (unless things have changed vastly with that program over the years since I was married to a federal section 8 inspector.- definitely possible)
But any other benefits you're gonna have to name a father or agree to help them determine who the legal father is.
Section 8 has a waiting list, depending on the area, that list can be very long and in Black areas, they place you in the hood most of the time. Some women waive that just due to where they place you.

Eh, if you know what you're doing you can avoid getting put on child support. You have to fight for joint custody/legal joint custody within the first month or 2 of the baby being born. How alot of nikkas get caught up is they just dont do anything for a 6 months or 2 years and then when the woman goes to court she can just be like well this guy doesnt give a fck about his kid obviously, so why shouldn't i get all the rights to the kid? Too many ppl playin checkers out here, these bytches are ruthless.

She's 24. I've only gone through this twice and both times they got abortions. S women getting older and keeping it really a thing?
Either you, th next man, or the govt is going to support the child so she feels like she wont be abandoned regardless.

All you gotta do is get a girlfriend that you normally get and out of spite, she will put you on child support.

This ofcourse I know. The waiting list is years long in places.
It's not that they place you any where, it's the landlords or owners who are willing to accept section 8 payment tend to accept it in less desireable areas.

This is another myth that pops up frequently on here, that you pop out your OOW baby and a state employee practically comes to the hospital and gives you free all kinds of shyt including section 8, when that's simply not true.

I used to work for the city housing authority and they had release forms people had to sign saying they would agree to let the feds aka HUD know who the non-custodial parent is.

Having a child is a risky, tough decision that involves two people. It's never easy, even if you are married, or if it was unplanned. Imagine what it's like for a woman carrying that child, it's a conversation to be had between two people, like a real serious one.

So is the premise in this situation that he's already been contributing to the support of his child or not?

If you are paying and have a good relationship with the custodial parents. I have heard this from other brothas as well. They pay but she puts them on state aided which is a bytch. Pre taxed shyt.

No no.
I am referring to your comment about the man getting a new gf and all of a sudden the bm "puts him on cs"

Was he helping to support the baby prior to that or no?

Okay. Sure. If you're broke and income less than I suppose 600 a month cash assistance 300 dollars in food stamps and being number 4005 on the section 8 waiting list is balling.

In the real world it isn't by any means though.
:yeshrug:
My child's mother gets more from me than she makes in a month and she gets state aid. Like I said before, I could have gotten every woman I dated in my life pregnant and none of them would be like her broke ass. I am talking doctors, lawyers, nurses, accountants, auditors, businesswoman, models who I don't know what they are doing now, teachers, etc.
