not like im any musical authority, but if i was an a & r id toss this shyt in the trash. the hook is generic the beat is a dime a dozen and the video is the same as everyone elses.

you have a sound that everyone else as and you are an almagation of every average rapper rolled into a boring package.

do you honestly think this is timeless and worth bumping 10 years from now? No.

Repackage yourself, you are below average at everything you are doing right now. Change your name, change your style, change your production. Unless you get a major cosign you arent going far without some major major marketing which will cost you some serious money.

Right now i myself managed to get two offers from two different people interested in potentially releasing a product from me, off the strength of ONE album. Because i tried to do something NO ONE else is doing and keep in mind, i do NOT rap nor did i have any rappers on my album. You have to innovate, or at least look the part. You have literally nothing to market. Nothing.

Just my opinion

I understand where you're coming from, actually this is far from the sound that I am, this is more of what I do

I think this is the style you should go for, I think your crowd is more EDM/hip hop than lyrical/trap hip hop:

Every cotdam inch of GA..except the racist parts
@C-Styles

me personally, i don't think anyone should critique a rapper unless they can rap better than that particular rapper they are talking about......keep practicing man, the problem is that you don't sound comfortable on that mic. Due to your vocal cadence and the way you rap, those clubby, synth heavy type beats/songs just aren't for you....one good thing about this music stuff is that you get to experiment until you find your lane....you just haven't found it yet....just keep practicing man. What i recommend you do is keep a laid back approach to your music. Also become more diverse with what you rap about.

peace man...and good luck

nikkas hatin on c styles

The music is there
The lyrics are there
The visuals/production value is there

If you don't particularly like the genre he's tackling, cool.. But don't bash him as an artist without giving any sort of constructive criticism.

I stay bumping Breathe :mjpls: :dj2:

I appreciate that, that's actually my most popular song with people, at the shows as well

if thats what you do then do it, someone else said it, you sound uncomfortable on the mic and you just dont have it in terms of rocking the crowd. you say you are influenced by nas yet you come across like a poor mans pitbull.

my productions emulate someone i idolize (dj krush, dj cam) thus i sound similar to them because i see music the same way they do, if you view music in the same mirror as nas, then take a cue from him and do you, not waka flocka and then switch up like youre papoose.

why even release a video if you are actually going for a sound of just the opposite?

im serious. change your name, it doesnt jump out at all. you should literally call yourself "Chicago Styles" because that grabs the ear in a way where people will remember.
