Heās a high upside rotational DE. Donāt let his low sack numbers be the end-all be-all. There were a lot of times where Gus would straight up not play homie for some reason despite him generating pressures and disruptions. 33% snaps played last year and still led pressures for us.
Wouldnāt have minded him coming back, but at that price it wouldāve been too much just to keep him. Heās only 25 years old, so your team will be banking on potential for him to break out and consistency like we did. Yāall actually got a more than capable DC in Dennis to work some magic tho.

all these additions to the trenches allow us to consider trade backs for more draft capital too

I didnt believe Fields would take 20M a year, I was technically wrong about that
But that was before Fields played on the steelers and looked like trash and couldnt keep his started job. He brought his own value down
Solid player, calling him a premier talent seems wild to me, and paying a premium for him seems like a waste. Not a major needle mover but he's young and maybe it was Indy holding him back.
Sorry this isn't more detailed, he was just a guy for us, another meh Ballard dline prospect with some flashes

everyone is talking Jeanty, is he Bijan/Gibbs level good? not stylistically but impact wise. I really havenāt looked at him yet. It doesnāt sound like there is a sure fire LT option at 10. Pass rusher is on the table. There is some interesting edge talent. This draft seems to lack high end, blue chip talent. Itās supposedly stacked with RB talent. If you listened to Ben & Poles this offseason, it sounds like they want to upgrade at RB. Swift can prob be released after year 2 but minimal cost

As much as I know (very little), no other Boise State offensive players are near the first round, so Jeanty is probably the real deal. One man army.
