Why?Can't wait to see this in a state like Alabama or Kentucky

Do you have a source for that 72% statistic? It would help the conversation greatly if you supplied where you got it from. It is a bit harder to argue in circles over a stat, if the stat is backed by a verifiable source. This is a lie but keep telling it. 72% of Nigerian immigrants are college graduates before they come to
America
I was being sarcastic , you would never see something like this in a red state. Why?
Asians and Africans look at education as the end all be all. My dad damn near killed me for going to summer school because I was rebellious. shyt ain't no joke. You better achieve or you are a fukking failure and you don't want to be a fukking failure.
You know something? My step-grandfather said something similar to the bolded part to me when we got into it about Pan-Africanism. I had to admit to him years later that he was right.I have to disagree. Blackness is a construct that was created to justify the racial caste system that slavery established. Before slavery, while there was oblivious recognition of differences, race wasn’t as paramount a trait in the classification of groups. People of African descent lived freely in Europe and the American colonies. It was only when the aristocracy sought a method of dividing the people and marginalizing what would become the enslaved that “black” and “white” as systemic identities took hold.
I don’t consider non-ADOS as “black” in the traditional sense - nor does the system.
Black Americas do also. This isn't just something that specific to foreigners. Im the kin folk of Sharecroppers we own our land now all the acres included and we have degrees now. We don't get put into studies. We have Black folk whom are well off yet all you see is the rappers now Black folk whom went to school and got themselves into position.
This myth again. They don't come from dirt poor families, but they aren't elite. The elite stay in their counties, because they're elite. It's mainly just ordinary families pulling their resources together to send one fortunate one over.
You obviously can’t fukking read and considering English isn’t your first language I suggest you shut the fukk up.@KingADOS Why is it that nikkas like you can't read. You said most come with college degrees, that's clearly NOT true even by you post. This is why mods always ban you, because you stupid as shyt. No where is it true that these people come to America with a degree. They usually get it in America.
Nigeria is a shythole, that's been confirmed
Raised by college-educated parents, some of whom also received post-graduate training, students internalized college education as essential.
California has a Democratic supermajority![]()
You are right, but depends. My father came here and his family was bushmen(relatively broke) he only got here due to education and connectionsThis is because they’re more likely to be middle class and elites, relative to most people in their country who couldn’t dream to emigrate. It costs an incredible amount of money to move from Nigeria to the US and become a citizen. Way more than let’s say a Mexican or something.
That whole “poor African came here with nothing” is a myth used on prestigious college applications. Most of these Nigerians come from families of upper class professions like doctors, professors, political families etc.
It’s an open secret, just like checking a box on an application to call yourself African American while speaking down on us like dogs at the dinner table.
Valuing education was very evident in Af-Am culture, as a whole, post emancipation. There was a rush towards literacy after 1865, for example.
However, posting a video highlighting black elites doesn’t really substantiate that the value is still evident throughout all African American culture/s.
What does the data say about post secondary attainment?
The data will say that by enlarge my Black American folk don't value education and we don't have fathers. Both are lies my folks have their post undergrad degree.
I have friends whom are data scientist by education so we have spirited debates often.
It's in black and white as an example. Black Americans and my friends do value education. I know more folks whom I know have attended an Ivy league university and graduated vs I know someone who is locked up.
Education and black folk didn't stop in 1865. Some of my relatives aren't in some data studies. They passed only to get their education and get a legit career back in the day so they were together had to live like they were separated.
We have land down in VA that these eco friendly food corps grow food on. I'm sure the coli vegan set have helped my Portfolio. I thank You all.
All that matters. Your father is apart of that group. You are right
Let me ask you an ancillary question. Is an education valued through all of Nigerian culture?Valuing education was very evident in Af-Am culture, as a whole, post emancipation. There was a rush towards literacy after 1865, for example.
However, posting a video highlighting black elites doesn’t really substantiate that the value is still evident throughout all African American culture/s.

When you were born, did your parents drop you on your damn head or did God give you a special quality that you gonna be one of the most stupid ass nikkas he's ever created to walk this planet. You so damn dumb, you make the dumb black friend on Black sitcoms like Mo, Jazz, Cole, and Waldo look like geniuses. Stupid ass nikkaYou obviously can’t fukking read and considering English isn’t your first language I suggest you shut the fukk up.
Kill yourself. Your mother shouldn’t have shyt your worthless ass out and swallowed instead.
