Calling in sick for work

i work for the federal government so we get 4 hours of sick leave a pay period, 2 paychecks means I get a free day to call out..usually take 1 sick day a month. I dont even have to talk to my boss over the phone either, we call an automated voice system and leave a message..this change happened in 2008 when a white lady complained that she felt like her boss was judging her over the phone when shed call in sick and she filed to sue, the lawsuite brought on the change where we no longer have to talk to an actual person..sad thing is, the lady was fired 2 months after the change was made.

Had an old boss that hated germs and would send us home if we sneezed too much. Used to pull that off every few months. But real talk even though this thing's all a farce and these corporations are snakes I'm not a liar and unless I just can't go I go to the job

I call out sick as much as I possibly can that's basically free money and a free day off I think people at my job are scared to call out I know if you people who are just corporate slavery minded

If I don't use them I get a check in February for however many days I have left over.
