Where are you getting your numbers from? They were 7th in points and 8th in total yards in the regular season, and that was with them literally letting off the gas and just grinding clock in multiple 4th quarters.
That fluid stuff is silly, if a QB who's been one of the most effective, efficient and productive since he became a starter (on top of cranking out MULTIPLE all-time Super Bowl performances) hasn't done enough to lock his name into the top 1/3rd of the league then the plot is lost.
Even the talent angle doesn't pass the smell test with 5 years of NFL tape. I think @feelosofer said it, between his strength and speed he might the 2nd most athletic QB in the league

Eagles have Smith and Aj Brown due to Hurts relationships with them. Howie traded up to get Devonta because of Hurts who wanted him. Hurts basically orchestrated the trade for AJ Brown.
Why wasn't Gardner Minshew or Pickett successful in this Eagles offense? Eagles play football and don't play for stats.

the context missing in all these arguments to discredit jalen is mind blowing to me. even with the 20 minutes i wasted watching that cam reply to the backlash, his only major point in everything is "2903 pAsSiNg YaRdS". theres no mention of the fact that jalen only played 14 games, or how much we just run the ball the entire 4th after major leads to kill the clock. the guy literally answered the questions on if he can carry an offense (although he already did it in 2022) on 2 of the biggest stages of them all, but because hes one of the major cogs behind the eagles rushing attack which limits passing attempts, that disqualifies him from being a top 10 or borderline elite QB
. you would think a nikka who won season MVP not only because of his passing but his rushing ability would get that, but i know cam is just playing the media game and saying shyt for clicks and views. however, the people running with his baseless narrative are the ones who have me

I honestly think some of the Hurts disrespect comes from the fact that not too many people thought he would be this good in the NFL and he's making them look bad. Just my opinion tho.
Herbert looks like a Bottom 10 QB in the playoffs and we still got these talking heads carrying water for him
