You’d never see Melo run into any of these problems offensively :mjlol: especislly in the playoffs. Very clutch player that rose to the occasion and knew his role perfectly (Number one scoring option).

Granted he ain’t locking no one up but a team like Boston fits his play style perfectly

I still think Tatum is good it’s just he’s extremely soft mentally and that’s why he having these brain farts and confidence issues. He not a dog like that despite being 6’9 and damn near 230 now - almost same size as Melo during his playing days

He has the mid range shot but he doesn’t play in the post, doesn’t drive, shoots a suspect middy now and settles for wayyy too many 3s. He didn’t always play like this though so it’s shocking to see. Kinda reminds me of Vince when he fell in love with the 3 during the end of his Raptor tenure and beginning with the Nets. But even Vince would still attack the rim and was a lethal mid range shooter

A little easier to have better numbers against first round competition considering he’s only been to the second round twice. :scust: .

I said this before and I will say it again I don’t think he has the reliable midrange game to deal with this, and it doesn’t help if OG is there too. Look at that last possession. He couldn’t straight line drive cause of Mitch, Then he went to try the midrange and OG was in his face and then he tried to pass it and Mikal was in the passing lane.

The Knicks cornered him and mugged him.

They left Hart open all game so he got himself 23 points.

The Celtics ain’t losing on some fluke shyt, the Knicks are beating them.
True, you know how certain players have a methodical go-to move when they absolutely need to score?

Jokic is the hundred spinning pivots of death into his floater/push shot thing, Shai does the misdirection dribble-drives into a step back middy, Luka is the backdown then spin left shoot over the right shoulder middy.

That's sort of what's lacking with Jayson. He does some cool lookin stationary dribbling stuff that ends with a stressful step back J, but you don't get a sense that he has a spot. Or his spot will be whereever further out than where he started. i'm only being partially facetious.
