you should love nasty too then. it's the same type of random bragadacio he was spitting on halftime.

He's a completely different person now. How could it possibly be the same? If he can make the exact same type of song at 39 that he did at 19 something is wrong.

In short, he's rapping from a different perspective.

except 20 years have passed....

nikkas who haven't a clue about Ross discography yet claim to own all his albums(how u own most his albums but can't recognize his songs by name :wtb:)

you can't get an honest debate about Ross without emotions entering the thread.

What im getting at is this debate could never truly take off because most ppl wouldn't even entertain it or they can't argue because theyre not as familiar with Ross as they are with Biggie.

DTR and Teflon Don are CLASSIC albums, they still sound good TODAY even though DTR is over 3 years old and TD is going on 2.

Like I've said earlier, if all u know about Ross is BMF and Hustlin......when i say ALL YOU KNOW i mean those are the only songs you KNOW word for word from Ross, then u have no business debating about whose better between him and Big.

you seem to be ignoring everything that people have responded to you with.

alot of us have listened to countless albums and mixtapes, some of us have been doing this for 15-25 years. its easy to forget songs by people like rick ross. not a knock on him. hes hot but hes just not THAT guy.

im not a fan of either rapper. in fact, im rooting for MMG(altho thats moreso by default than anything). i never rooted for biggie/bad boy/junior mafia.

the point that dude was making is that you HAVE to be a fan of ross to be able to recite most of these "classic" songs that yall are linking up in here. the term PERSONAL classic was created for albums like DTR & teflon don.

Since all yall simple minded hip hop fukks rape the fukk outta this matter for I dont know what fukking reason...why dont some of you fukks make a Biggie mixtape over Ross beats

Since yall so infatuated with comparing them two, solely because both of them are gluttonious fat fukks.

lol @ nikkas saying generally speaking big has classics but completely disregarding how that came to be

When he was alive he was just like Ross, one of the hottest MCs out making dope music. He became immortalized after his death by none other than Puffy.

"life after death"? yea. thats a bullchit classic.

but "ready to die" was a classic before big died.

In 96 they were equals. The only thing that separated BIG from Nas was record sales and singles. He was in no shape or form viewed as "better" than Nas during 93-96. I lived it Big Fail.

Like I said, I can drop links to BIG's competitions giving their genuine opinions on son when he was alive and none of it consisted of the words "Classic" or "goat"

Nas on the other hand was being worshipped by his enemies and foes

most people werent in a rush to refer to things as "classics" back then. but i say that "ready to die" was considered a classic back then because its status was understood.

the term "goat" didnt even exist.

for the record, nas >>> biggie.
and biggie is overrated.

Exactly you have to be a FAN in order to critique the music the way these guys are trying to do. I mean if u wanna stick ya head in the sand and ignore most of Ross' discography while putting Biggies 2 albums on a pedestal then be my guest, but don't try to pass off your short sighted ignorance as fact.

Imagine if some fool told you that Mo Money Mo Problems is Biggies only classic song

You're entitled to your opinion, and your more than welcome to keep hiding behind it, but as a Ross FAN im advising u that you don't know Ross' material if all u can come up with is BMF and Hustlin as his only classic records. Ill be more than happy to point u in the right direction, maybe then u can see how foolish your "opinion" on Ross' music is.

You sleeping fam
