Luka really gonna have to dig deep and change his whole attitude and approach to the game. The constant barking at refs, complaining, not getting back on defense, etc. You'd think someone who's been playing pro since he was a teenager would know better, or maybe there's just too much leeway in the NBA

I fukk with Luka and he’s clearly top 3-5 now but the way he stakes on shyt like this is…well ‘cism. Not just that, his shytty diet and conditioning. No one says a thing whereas that shyt becomes a major topic when it’s a black player.

He’s great and will become even greater, I love watching him play. But he needs someone to tell him to grow the fukk up. I think Jason Kidd could be the person person to do it.

Why would you have another company’s guys call the Finals other than your own? It benefits TNT more than it does ESPN.

Breh, I know it’s not realistic…but it’s the better choice for fans and the NBA, TNT has to find a way to contract with a broadcast network so they can bid on the finals. Every single year it’s a complete letdown to end the season on ABC/with ESPN

TNT just doesn’t have that type of bread to do so and make it a real possibility. Even if they did, ESPN would outbid them to get the rights to do so.

I think that's where the NBA should step in and use their leverage to make it happen. But then again as wild as Inside The NBA is I think they'd be afraid of putting them on network TV. Hell now that I think about it though ABC don't even really do a proper post game show so they could just do the postgame show on TNT or NBATV still after each game.

The NBA can‘t do anything it as ESPN/ABC has all of the leverage with them forking over the majority of the bread for television rights. Now that might change with the upcoming negotiations, but more than ESPN will fork over whatever it takes to keep the rights.

ESPN was griping a few years ago that they were paying more than anyone else for the NFL and we’re getting trash games, so they would likely make the same argument if someone got the Finals and rightfully so. Barkley would be the problem though since he’s unfiltered and you cant curse like that on network television for obvious reasons.

If you‘re paying your NBA crew as much as you are in Greeny, SAS, Jalen and Wilbon, you‘re going to have them and no one else covering the Finals

Their sports coverage is fine. It’s the NBA that’s the problem. In ESPN’s mind, the problem is fixed since they got their highest paid guys doing coverage which helped rid of the inhouse fighting that originally took place. Ironically enough, we thought shyt would change with Nichols gone, but they still treat the NBA with no respect as they do the NFL.

Malika and them are are Eye Candy and gender equity positions only . They need to bring on more WNBA players or women who played the game like Cheryl to fill those spots. Richard Jefferson probably needs to be bumped into the Finals hosting team as well, he knows the game enough and has enough personality. SVP is like one of the last from the old guard when ESPN was worth watching. Screaming A is the face of the network now and i just dont think its sustainable

yep, end of the games on ESPN is so anti climactic, that SVP SC aint the move. dubs games i can just turn to local coverage, but it's WOAT for all others
