?? That’s what I said sir.

Or are you saying that’s not true?
I'm saying your point about "only 5 white people in Wu shirts" point is untrue. Black people aren't packing out Wu Tang shows, and they aren't buying the merch. This was the case even during their height. I only saw white people and Asians in Wu Wear:russ:

Bro…I’m saying exactly what you are saying.

I didn’t say 5 people “only”…I was saying at any event you go to anywhere on earth…for anything…you’re gonna see 5 white teenagers rockin Wu shirts who don’t know ish about Wu…only because that’s “real hip hop” to their poser asses lol. Same way you see random nigs rockin Nirvana shirts and can’t name you 3 Nirvana songs. You’re agreeing with me and don’t eeeen know it

This might be the single worst take in this entire thread.
We're just never going to agree here:mjlol: that cover looks like some shyt a high school student drew, especially with the big obnoxious Wu logo on the hoodies

Compared to covers like OB4CL, Enter 36th, Return to 36th, Supreme Clientele, Liquid Swords cover looks like fan art

You gotta step back and realize you're in the EXTREME minority on that front so to even cite it as something that would make the album unappealing is ridiculous.

Wtf that has to do with Wu? You do realize that Wu were big and revered with Black people before white hipsters latched on, correct? You sound dumb than a muthafukka.

I know I'm in the minority but I clearly don't care:pachaha:

I never even said it makes the album unappealing I just think it's an ugly cover :mjlol:

Bro you are so angry and upset that it’s clouding your judgement, 😂. Relax…why are y’all all like this? Wu doesn’t care about you sir…like at all. You don’t always have to speak from the position of a defensive ass fan, you can just be honest too.. But scratch all that…

I said Wu has maintained relevancy because of the white poser sect…I didn’t say they gained fame off them. I told you I was a huge Stan. Read sir.

Secondly, it has everything to do with Wu because the reason Wu is still relatively popular is because of that group in particular…the white wannabe hip hop heads.

I’m only speaking facts champ…you wild emotional and speaking with girl angst. I’m off this…yall crazy as sh!t, salute lol. Bruh neg repped me, you gotta love it man, lol. I’d do it back but I would never..

I think Wu Tang is laughably overrated and only maintained a name somewhat because of dirty ass white people associating them with “real hip hop” and fronting like they love them (Just my opinion! As a kid I was a super stan. Still a big Rae fan. Ghost and Meth my nigs too)…

And still, aside from Only Built, Liquid Swords is my favorite Wu album. It just embodies that dirty project staircase yet still lyrical and still thought provoking sound that I respect and expect from Wu-Tang records. It’s a dirty sounding album…like one of them joints I can’t even imagine a female playing lol…sometimes I need those joints (if it’s quality like this). Top 50 rap album ever imo
I would say from true blue Hip-Hop heads Wu-Tang Forever was the END of an era as the last true rugged mainstream crossover joint with Triumph & yet at the same time the BEGINNING for the rest of the world in their newfound love of Wu-Tang Clan. So for the OG heads after Forever I think they felt that their was a fall off (myself included) while the rest of the world (dusty white kids globally) was just starting to really dig into Wu-Tang very late. I think that’s where the misconception comes in that Wu-Tang Clan was just vastly overrated. It really derived from the fact that they were so groundbreaking that the rest of the universe was late to the show. Wu-Tang Clan was literally THE reason that Hip-Hop crossed over globally to the level it did. That is fact. Remarkable :wow:

Album is crazy fire, beats and rhymes are both on another level in my opinion. I don't even know how you would explain this, it's just self-evident to me. So many memorable stories and lines in here. GOAT similes on this album. "His glock clicks like high heel shoes on parquet floors" GZA was beyond in his bag on this one

If you don't like LS that's OK. But damn though I wish you could hear it like I hear it
"Picture blood baths in elevator shafts"
:wow:
GZA was so vivid on this album :ohlawd:

While I’m sure there are plenty of white posers that aren’t true fans, there’s still a huge amount of white ppl that are fans simply bc Wu made a lot of dope music.

That rage tour help further cross Wu over into the skater fanbase in the mid-late 90s. I don’t think They’re fake fans, I think they’re likely not that into hip hop as a whole but are fans of Wu

Similarly I’m not that into other genres of music but like some artists…

There are plenty of dope ass lines too:

“ Where money don't grown on trees
and there's thievin mc's
Who cut-throat to rake leaves”
If you like descriptive realistic lyricism on hardcore dark & eerie beats then Liquid Swords is one of your favorite albums off all-time :whoo:

Came through with the Wu, slid off on the DL
I'm low-key like seashells, I rock these bells (When the MCs)
Now come aboard, it's Medina bound
Enter the chamber, and it's a whole different sound
It's a wide entrance, small exit like a funnel
So deep, it's picked up on radios in tunnels
nikkas are fascinated how the shyt begin
Get vaccinated, my logo is branded in your skin
