Bought this gem up in Vermont visiting my sister at college. Walked into Coconuts (RIP) and stumbled upon in when I was 14. I remember reading the blurb on the back of the case that included the names to all the tracks like :gladbron::jbhmm: Let me see what this is about. From the Lone Wolf and Cub intro to B.I.B.L.E. my young mental was:ohlawd:

It's funny that I only realized after watching American Saga that Tical came out before OB4CL, Liquid Swords and Ironman which are all personal classics. While there's a few moments I enjoy on Tical, it's clearly 4th best out of the original 4 solo albums and he had access to RZA's vault before anyone else.

That's it. Its a hardbody east coast album to the friggin tee. Nothing wrong with it, but for the most part Liquid Swords just a bump once and move away album. Folks getting the perception that I don't care for the album, or even shytting on it.

No, I actually fukk with the album but the ball groping for such a album is silly as all hell, when the Purple Tape was LEAGUES better than the album. Hell, Tical was better than the album because it had not only the grit, but it had replayability. I played that album from here to kingdom come for the time.
Wild how I and people the world over can play an album over and over for actual decades when it doesn't have "replayability"
I was prepared to let you cook at first, but this is just stupid. You don't like the album, that's OK. Just move on with your life. Tical is in no way better than LS my man

ODB’s debut is far better than Tical too
