Can Someone explain the appeal of Star Wars

i never seen this movie in its entirety. one thing i can never understand is how crazy people get over a new addition to the franchise or attending comic-con conventions wearing chewbacca costumes.

why iyo are peopledrawn to this movie

I WOULD IMAGINE BECAUSE OF THE UNIVERSE. IT'S PRETTY DEEP. THERE'S SOMETHING LIKE 1500 BOOKS, COMICS, GAMES AND CRAP ALL CONTRIBUTING TO ONE HUGE STORY. SAME THING FOR STAR TREK.

between the lightsabers (coolest gadget ever - again at the time), the Force, Darth Vader, Death Star (among other things)...it was perfect storm

And there still hasn't been anything like it still to this very day. Forget about the prequels, I'm talking the first 3.

movies make no sense. If shyt happens a long time ago how come shyt looks more advanced in ep 1 then in ep 4?

also why didn't obi wan tell luke that dude had a crush on his sister when he was ghost.

And if dude was a Jedi Ghost how come he didn't help out the rebels more?
