None of the songs rich did on B day were released as singles. It was dark child and Swizz beats.

Beyonce had a career before she went solo/has been a diva. She had more pull in the Industry than Amerie
It's just one of those things that's more or less common thought....Amerie was making hits in 02-04/05 .....last big one was its just one thing (classic joint).....both albums (1st and 2nd) were crazy....had Nas and then I think Jay on the it's just one thing remixes 
.......then suddenly disappears for years while B begins to dominate(upgrade you, put a ring on it, diva)....she returns again like I think 09ish but never to the same fan fare and moves to Europe.....people assume behind the scenes/industry shenanigans
