Teams that don't belong will be in an we'll see more ass whooping like tonight.
TCU clearly didn't belong.
Deion just needs to have Colorado relevant for a few years and jump ship when a bigger programs calls. The Buffs will never have the money or resources to compete with the likes of Bama, Georgia, Ohio State, LSU or Texas in the long run. At the end of the day, only about 10-15 schools really have a shot of winning it all every year. A school here and there may enter or drop from the list and a once a lifetime Cinderella like TCU pops in but the true blue bloods of college football are the only one fight for it all every season.See, where does Deion fit into tonight.
I don't think he'll ever be able to get to a point where he has Georgia type talent across the board
Forgive me, I've never watched a College Football game in my life
But don't they already have those like the Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl, Toilet Bowl games?
Those games rotate in & out every year of being in the CFP.
One year the Orange Bowl will be a playoff game, & the next year it’ll just be the regular Orange Bowl which is traditionally a top ACC team vs a top SEC or Big Ten team.
sugar bowl will be a playoff game one year where it doesn’t matter who’s in it, but the years it isn’t a playoff game it’s a top SEC team vs a top Big 12 team
Rose Bowl is Pac-10 vs Big 10 when it’s not a playoff game, etc
They want to expand the playoffs, so those games may start to always be playoff games if im not mistaken.
College football is a complete shyt show these days. All the good recruits are going to the same schools every year, & it’s hardly any parity. I think the need to expand and let all conference winners in the playoffs. Sure, UGA, Bama & Ohio State will probably win the majority of titles but we may get a random upset one year.
Also these playoffs won’t be lame neutral site games they’ll be played at college home stadiums so the atmosphere will be more fun tooIts very short sighted to think the way things are now is how they will always be. It’s very childish and short sighted to see otherwise.
Having a bigger playoff pool will mean more schools get the means to compete and win.
TCU was a nice Cinderella story but the underdogs never win it all in college football. Having a high blue chip ratio matters
