He's a talented QB, but he's young and mediocre right now. Look at his production. He's a 15-20 level QB. There's 32 teams. He's average, I'm not saying he sucks or a bust but he's a mediocre QB

based off his play...he's a better qb than those that i mentioned...
no, i wont get off the plight cause it goes hand and hand with how black qbs are judged/critiqued...as for jameis: i have been judging him off his play....for being only a year and a half in, and what he is working with (1 wr, no run game, lack of talent on the oline, a bad def., an unproven coach, etc.) he's doing pretty damn good....but you seem to be ignoring all that to call him mediocre/a disappointment, and ready to write him off....while other qbs that are playing as good or worse than him, in better situations, people are like 'give him time'...ex: bortles and cutler....both are mediocre qbs, but instead of accepting that, people keep saying 'just give him time'...why is that?....
since you a falcon fan, you should know first hand what i'm talking about....when vick was qb, yea, he couldve done some things better, but despite the lack of talent around him, he still won (first to beat farve at home in the playoffs)....so the aforementioned lack of talent was ignored/never brought up....the min they didnt win, all his shyt was put on blast and he was the reason they werent winning, no one mentioned the lack of talent...switch vick out for schabb, and then people start talking about the lack of talent as to why the team wasnt winning...it wasnt cause schabb wasnt as good as vick, it was cause 'he didnt have any thing to work with and should be given time'...even after he went to houston and had talent around him, people still ignored he just wasnt that good of a qb and went with the 'just give him time' excuse....i bring that up to point out how he was given time to show he was mediocre/bad....just like he was given time to show and prove, so should black qbs, but that aint the case....

You could make the argument that up until last yr Cam was a disappointment
And Mularkey didn't turn Matt around, he took Matt to another level and helped groom him early in his career
Jameis has had the same OC, Dirk Koetter, both last yr and this yr. They fired Lovie so that Koetter could continue to mentor him. It's the same offense
yea, it's the same oc, but he still had to answer to lovie and lovie made sure he didnt go overboard with the deep route play calling....now that lovie isnt there and he answers to no one, look at what he calls...there is no reason why on 3rd and 5, all the routes are 15 yards down field....or why on 1st and 2nd they call deep shyt, then on 3rd and long they call a screen pass/some short shyt....yea, that's jameis fault when they dont get it, not cause the play calling is horrible....

I wasn't talking about Jameis having a lot of bad games bro, my point is that he's a talented yet mediocre QB through 1.5 years of football. He's been a disappointment but he's good enough to turn it around
Look at Jameis's stats breh...3rd most INTs, 25th in passer rating, 28th in completion percentage, who is he outplaying?
No breh I look at his body of work. He's inaccurate, turnover prone and makes questionable decisions. Yea he has holes on his team I don't disagree with you there but most teams in the league have injury and personnel problems. Look at the stats I posted breh, he's not playing well and if you look at him play you see the overthrows you see the questionable decision making. I get it, he's a young QB but that doesn't mean I can't critique his play and yes he's still mediocre
Breh Vick was my favorite player but breh was lazy, didn't give a fukk about the game, he never dedicated himself or his body to being a great all around player. He acknowledges all of this BTW. Vick did have a talented run game (Duckett & Dunn), a solid TE (Crumpler) and a decent D. Vick never had a great WR, but he also wasn't a traditional QB (short, left handed QB who didn't always read defenses and threw bullets with no touch). He was hard to catch for alotta of our guys. But as a passing QB yea Vick was a mediocre passer and that's based on his play, not as a black QB or because of his teammates but solely based on his play
And I'm not saying Jameis doesn't deserve the time to get better because he does, but he hasn't been a great QB yet
