Completion % has to be the most overrated stat for a QB. Dudes like Wentz are throwing 3 yd passes on every play and completing 70% of them and people are impressed by that

I don't have anything against Jameis...I've jokingly referred to him as a Baby Scam (i.e. A younger Cam Newton), but he needs more time to develop. He's still a year and a half in. But has he been a disappointment, I'd say yea he has. He could still be a great QB or be what he is now, a talented yet average QB who doesn't raise the level of his team and needs to be surrounded by more talent to be more effective

Again no mention from you of Jameis being more turnover prone through 1 and a half years than Matt was through two. No mention of Matt making the playoffs and posting back to back winning seasons his first two years. You keep missing the point. Matt through two years managed football games better than Jameis is now. That's a combination of accuracy, decision making and not being turnover prone. I never claimed Matt was as prolific a passer as Jameis but he also didn't throw as much either

If Jameis is your boy cool. He's not a bad QB. But he hasn't been a good one yet either. Right now he's a 15-20 ranked QB on a sub .500 football team. He, like the Bucs, are just average

Has nobody ever heard of the sophomore slump? Almost every QB takes a side step or a step back in year 2. I don't see how this is suddenly an issue when it wasn't worse for guys like Cam and every other QB who took a slight step back their 2nd starting year. Defenses study film and adjust. Year 3 and on is his adjustments to his struggles to defensive schemes.

Matt was a big reason why we made the playoffs and had 5 straight winning seasons. He had a lot to do with our success and made a huge difference with our team. What difference has Jameis made with the Bucs?
