It’s in the language we speak and media we consume, where fair, light and “high” complexion are seen as pure and more positive and darkness and more “African”/Bantu-like features are seen as masculine, aggressive, classless, dirty and inherently evil.

People miss out on jobs, education, liberties and opportunities because of their complexion and appearance.
