Agreed. I've spun this album a lot and it sounds nothing like what you think when you hear West Coast music. The East Coast influence is heavy throughout the album.

U pretty much rep where u were back then. Rage and Kurupt weren't from the West Coast either but they are lebeled west coast rappers anyway.

yall looking at these albums like them folks talking shyt about sports players hall of fame "no he wont make it there he too bad for me" :russ: the album is a certified classic, the production is timeless the flow is flawless

Masta Ace is one cynical mahfugga, lol. The nikka was just salty nobody heard his slaughtahouse album where he dissed the west coast beats and tried to go hard with "Jeep Ass Nigguh"

So he was like fucc it, if you can't beat em join em and made some hits! I doubt most people bangin his funk beats at the time even realized he was the same cat from the Juice Crew which is a testament to how commercial the game was starting to become and how dope (versatile) Ace was!

Funny thing is, the west coast diss (skit) on the Slaughtahouse record was actually the dopest shyt on there :mjgrin:
