it's a sample of Wes Montgomery covering a Beatles song

not sure how the legality of that works

This shyt is blowing my mind right now. Crazy, just crazy.

I am to lazy right now, but this record is ripping off the beatles no?

EDIT:And to bring it back to group home, Yesterday, was sampled on the intro to Group homes album.

TYRONE GA!
The intro is a Wes Montgomery sample. But yeah, I never thought Dap was the problem, cuz his voice was ill IMO.

Nutcracker was.......:heh:

That nikka Nutcracker had so many WOAT lines in that album.

"It's like that, shyt I jumped off the roof /
Sike, cause I wouldn't be livin' proof "

it's a cover of this song

again, I'm not sure how the legal issues with covers works, but it seems they used to be more accepted in the industry. plus Wes's version should definitely qualify as "derivative work"

Ramsey Lewis has a whole album of Beatles covers

Horrible When it comes to rocking shows

:heh: Breh, I am a bit old and ya that was bad. But man, Rappers live shows in the 90's where beyond awful, and I likely seen you favourite 90's rapper live, in the 90's... Lol, good times man. For as bad as the music is to me today, the live show for rap music has really made it...

Towards the end

But dope album. You gotta be 100% garbation to make these beats go to waste. Give Dap and Nutcracker credit.

The Chi (South Side)
It gets edged out by the cohesiveness of 'The Sun Rises In The East' for me. IMO 'Hard To Earn' was Primo's peak - He was on an entirely next level. Only beats he ever made that could have topped any of those 3 albums, were the ones on Illmatic.

primo only did three tracks on illmatic. if we are gonna talk about his best work, then it's gonna be a toss up between sun rises in the east, living proof, and hard to earn. I got no problem with anyone who chooses any of those three records.
