Nobody is going to jump into Jimbo's offense and produce great no matter how good you are. All of the QB's that have succeeded sat and learned for at least a year. Golson played like I expected. He wasn't bad until this last game. MacGuire has been in the offense for four years. The change had to be made.

Kelly's offense with Golson was a 1 read spread option offense..Golson never passed the ball under center last year with Notre Dame and they ran 4 wide sets with the A back pretty often..It definitely wasnt pro style by no means...I just think Jimbo's ego got in the way with this Golson situation I think he thought he could turn Golson into Russell Wilson
