A lot of rappers have had other people pen verses for them. A LOT. But more rappers have people put songs together for them.
Usually after they get big, and they're toruing, doing business ventures, and don't have time or motivation. They'll bring someone in the fold to help them with verses and putting things together like hooks, concepts, flows etc.
When you get big, it's usually not one rapper, one producer and one engineer creating the record. It's usually a pool of people helping craft these songs.
